Honoring Dedication, Celebrating Achievements: A Memorable Evening at PP&PS

The Directorate General, Punjab Probation and Parole Service (PP&PS), hosted a heartwarming event on Friday, 29th November 2024, at 46 Abu Bakar Block, New Garden Town, Lahore, to celebrate the milestones achieved by the department and honor the invaluable contributions of its esteemed officers. The evening was a testament to the spirit of camaraderie, dedication, and professional excellence that defines the PP&PS family.

Recognizing Excellence and Dedication

The event began with a tribute to the retired officers whose tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have left an indelible mark on the department. Shields and honorary certificates were presented to:

  • Mian Farooq Ahmed, Deputy Director (Retired)
  • Mr. Shahzad Ali, Assistant Director (Retired)

Celebrating Training Achievements

The ceremony also recognized the achievements of officers who recently completed their training at the Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD), marking a significant milestone in their professional journeys.     The evening also saw a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Rashid Mahar, Law Officer, who has been transferred from the department. His remarkable service was acknowledged with an appreciation certificate and shield, a gesture reflecting the department’s gratitude.


    As one chapter concluded, another began with the warm welcome extended to Mr. Abbas Ali, the newly posted Law Officer. His arrival was met with enthusiasm, symbolizing the department’s ongoing evolution and commitment to excellence.


    Director PP&PS, Mr. Arif Umar Aziz, expressed his sentiments: “This evening is a celebration of our collective achievements and the individuals who make it possible. To those who depart, thank you for your service. To those who join us, welcome to a legacy of dedication and impact.”
